My Creative Space

This week I'm taking part in Kootoyoo's my creative space.

I'm busy putting together my friend's 18th birthday present.

Sewing a lavender bag. She gave me one when we were 12, so I want to make her one in return 6 years later!

Vintage jewellery box I found in a charity shop. My dad fixed it and added a new music box.

Can you spot the heart in the picture below?

The card that these beautiful hair clips were attached to was pretty boring. So I made my own by sticking flowers from a magazine onto pink card, then adding a strip of lace.

I bought these pretty candles from Emma Bridgewater, £1 each! I disguised the tape with more lace.

Yesterday I found this frame in a charity shop for £2.99. I cleaned it up, added a new colour in the background and framed one of my great-grandmother's lace doilies. What do you think? I'm keeping this for myself though! :)

You can tell that I am a bit obsessed with lace at the moment!
