Gli Anni Della Dolce Vita

I thought it would be appropriate to show these photos today, the birthday of Federico Fellini.  These images were captured by Marcello Geppetti and Arturo Zavattini during the 60s Dolce Vita era.  I think the photos of stars like Mastroianni and Bardot, Claudia Cardinale, Alain Delon, and Jack Lemmon, as well as Federico himself on set, really bring to life the glamour so ably captured on film by Fellini.

 

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the release of La Dolce Vita, il Museo Nazionale del Cinema is displaying the collection of photographs at the Mole Antonelliana in Torino, from January 19 to March 21, 2010.
