. . . have always held a special fondness for velvet, and especially tufted velvet, {and anything tufted, really}, and as the bright late-autumn days drift slowly into long winter nights, there is a longing for decadently warm and elegantly luxurious textures -- golden velvet against driftwood and snow-white faux fur beautifully intermingled with crystal droplets falling from silver candelabras and glittering as shooting stars on a crisp november night . . .

. . . have been in love with ochre's stunning arctic pear chandelier for as long as can remember, but had never imagined just how lovely it could look intermingled with washed floorboards, an antique mirror and a periwinkle tufted chesterfield . . .

. . . french doors and a velvet tufted settee, wood floors and another stunning chandelier -- there is something about each of these things that adds such glamour and elegance to a room -- and all intermingled in one place, sheer perfection . . .

. . . there is something about velvet that is so luxuriously alluring, and especially so, on a stunningly elegant and tufted sofa in shades of shimmer and silvery grey. . .
