. . . rounded edges and a soft, charmingly uneven texture that catches the play of light and shadows, and shall never look at walls the same way again . . .

{floods of sunlight on winter afternoons}
. . . one of the best things about mornings is throwing open the curtains to the light of a new day, and on thoughtful winter afternoons: floods of dappled sunlight on warm white walls, glittering reflections in brightly polished mirrors and, best of all, resplendent bouquets of pink and perfect blossoms . . .
{p.s.} also adore the layered mirrors + more glimpses of pink: 1 & 2

{layered mirrors + links}
Still one of my very favourite uses of mirrors is Michael Bruno's fireplace mantle layering, both in his Paris apartment {above} and then in his Hamptons farmhouse {below}.
* an afternoon that captured our imaginations
* bruce munro's magical field of light
* fun danish miniatures
* a favourite sneak peek
* a chic {printable} calendar
* a perfectly stylish wrap-up of the past year
