. . . whether a perfect mix of white mattes and black frames intermingled with ever-elegant gold for a stunning display, or a glittering pavé bow ensconced between whispers of champagne-coloured silk, the artful arrangement of beautiful things never fail to inspire . . .

Branching Out
I'm not sure if it's the bare trees all around my yard, or the feeling of scaling down and wanting to declutter and destress, but these branchy pics I've had saved in my files for some times have really struck a cord today.

{décor inspiration: palest pink + leopard print}
. . . very much adore the idea of tempering leopard print with an elegant crown canopy draped in shades of silken moss and perfectly paired with pretty ruffles and palest pink bed linens . . .
{p.s.} more leopard print:
* at home with: designer jennifer nicholson
* falling for fall: autumn leaves
* afternoon delights: pear martinis & summer's end
* style inspiration: a walk on the wild side
* modern metallics: black, brown & bits of gold
* interior designer: miles redd
* a charming mix of things: four

{eco chic: decanterlights}
. . . p's mother has a beautiful cut crystal decanter collection displayed in their formal living room and have always loved the way they glimmer and add such elegance, and so was much delighted to discover another use for them -- decanterlights, by british designer lee broom, are pendant light fixtures created from vintage crystal decanters sourced from antique markets and vintage shops and available in a natural clear crystal or polished gold -- aren't they lovely?
{p.s.} more stylish eco chic inspiration:
cushions | cork | wine bottle centrepieces

{storage inspiration: perfume display}
. . . beautiful shimmery bottles on night tables and marble vanities, in leather handbags and hallway consoles . . . have amassed a rather impressive collection of perfume and have always adored the notion of pretty things on display, so completely fell in love with the idea of displaying pretty toiletries in slimline shelving originally intended for plates -- such a wonderfully brilliant and perfectly lovely idea . . .

{one perfect panel}
Happy for the return of patterns this season, and like the idea of using one prettily foiled and softly-hued panel to brighten up a warmly neutral background . . .
