. . . there is just something about sundays -- everything seems to slow down to a perfect pace, and whether off to the countryside, catching flights or catching up on beauty sleep, it is nearly impossible not to relax on sundays and it's positively luxurious . . . and while last week was filled with loveliness, working in sun-drenched cafés and evening walks with the dog that ended in new summer wedges and a little black dress, there is a certain hope about sundays that always leaves time for brunch, a good book, the flower markets, handwritten letters, and moments lost in daydreams . . .

hope you're having a wonderful weekend & that it's beautiful where you are, ~roséline xo

. . . most often drawn to bright and airy, spaces, crisp whites and pale and pretty neutrals {here & here}, but every once in a while, something comes along that changes everything and suddently it's deep hues and jewel tones, an intoxicating mix of colours, patterns and textures, and pure and unbridled maximalism -- hervé pierre's paris apartment, david kaihoi's new york flat, hamish bowles' paris apartment -- and now boxwood, an enchanting and wonderfully romantic old 1920's home in altanta filled with fish ponds and gardens, grand columns and archways, french doors and luxurious velvet sofas, elegant monogrammed linens and de gournay . . .

{p.s.} the living room walls are upholstered entirely in turquoise satin

{room inspiration: always de gournay}

. . . perhaps white linen for the cushions on the settee and balloon shades in place of the roman blinds above, but all in all, adore everything about this stunning and summery nate berkus designed room featured in elle decor -- the utterly romantic and beautifully draped campaign bed, the crisp white linens and perfectly pretty floral glass sputnik chandelier, and most of all, the always enchanting de gournay wallpaper . . .
