a beautfiul July wedding!

my beautiful cousin Julie got married this past weekend & i had the honor of being one of her bridesmaids.  This is right before the ceremony when we were all getting a little antsy.  So... we decided to all peak out the cry-room window to see the guests arrive.
pre-wedding bridesmaids & a quick snapshot of Jenny & me before the wedding commenced!
my nieces & nephew were flower girls & ring bearer!  they were darling & they were in awe when they first saw julie.  she really did look like Cinderella!
Eeps i adore this picture.  How great is the smile on their faces!
the reception site was a beautiful winery where they had dinner indoors & dancing was outside next to a pond!  it was dreamy.
miss natalie decided to pal around with me & the bridal party during part of the reception.  She is so bashful!
we attempted a grandkid + great grandkids photo while we all were at the reception- i love it! (though we were missing a few of us...we missed you christopher & samantha!)
last dance of the night...
Congratulations, Julie! I am so excited for you & Garrett- you made a gorgeous bride & your wedding was even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined!  (it seems like yesterday we were lying in your bed with jenny, taking turns talking about what we wanted our big day to be like!)  time flies!
-I love you, Julie & Garrett!

happy moments.

yesterday i visited jenny & julie for lunch.
i have missed them so much, it seems like we hardly ever
have time to catch up anymore. we are busy, busy girls.
many giggles were had & lots of hugs were received.

i came home & i met my cute boy and we ate yummy food.
after dinner we strolled on mass street in the warm spring-like weather
& we came upon an accordion player who was playing music from amelie.
it was wonderful.

we practiced salsa dancing after we got back from downtown
& decided to stargaze.
(oh & i may have gotten beat at wii...multiple times...)

it was a happy day,
filled with many happy moments.

& i am one lucky girl.

because every friday should end like this...

a short friday story...

[a five year old me.]

when i was around the age of five i saw the movie grease for the first time.

i was smitten.

i remember the day my mom bought it for me very vividly. i remember her picking me up from kindergarten & me asking her if she found it-- she said no. my heart sank. she said she was joking. & i was elated. i watched it at least seven times that week.

i Loved it. L-o-v-e-d it...
i watched it none stop, dancing & singing along while clomping around in my mom's super cute wedding shoes that looked just like sandy's. i adored sandy. i remember the day i sat at the kitchen table & counted the penny's and quarters in my piggy bank & being short five dollars of the eighteen i needed to buy the soundtrack. my dad kindly gave me the five i needed.

i would stand on our loft blaring it dancing around all day with my cousins jenny & julie. i attempted to get my boy cousins jon & geoff to watch grease & i think they got to the prom scene. then i was convinced riding bikes was cooler.

grease will forever have a special place in my heart.

wouldn't you love to end your friday like this? i think we should!
