PARIS

Last week I spent four days in the beautiful city of Paris with my university. We stayed in this hostel, which I really recommend for groups as it's quiet and clean but central enough to travel easily to other areas of Paris. We mainly did lots of wandering, eating and wine-drinking, and I somehow had 11 hours sleep during the whole trip, so I'm still gradually catching up!
On the Wednesday we visited the beautiful Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge, then ate at a gorgeous French restaurant for my 20th birthday. On Thursday we went to the textile trade fairs Première Vision and Indigo (the reasons for the trip) which were HUGE and very inspiring as we saw many new designers. In the evening we visited the Eiffel Tower (I was too scared to go up!) and then went for a meal followed by dancing in a bar.
Friday was the sunniest day in Paris since November, and we visited the Marais district which is my fave. We munched on macaroons and ate out in the evening before going out again. On Saturday we went to a flea market. I was very proud of myself for not buying anything the whole trip! Apart from lots of food.
Sorry for rushing through the trip, but I don't want to bore you with every detail! If you want any more details or recommendations then please ask :)
