Completely fell in love with this photograph of Jen Gotch's whirlwind trip to Vegas -- the lacy strapless dress with blue satin sash and matching shoes are just perfect and très romantic.

Funky hairstyles
On some websites, they call this the emo look, which is short for emotional. I guess there is also music and other lifestyles that go with the look. I'll have to check it out to see if I'm a true "emo."

Goodnight Irene
Irene Lentz was the costume designer for MGM Studios in Hollywood for 7 years. In 1947, Irene was the first American designer to allow department stores the rights to sell her designs in exclusive boutiques. This is one such dress.
This 1950's cocktail dress by Irene is worked in black silk taffeta. I love those cascading accordian pleated ruffles. And it just fits that old song from 1950 - "Good night Irene, I'll see you in my dreams."
See this dress and more at Couture Allure Vintage Fashion .

Nicole and Joel shopping
Nicole and Joel shopping at DCMA, on April 29. Earlier in the day, the couple was seen shopping at the Diane von Furstenberg boutique.
Nicole wears a Diane von Furstenberg "Ora" printed dress accessorized with Jennifer Meyer yellow gold and diamond letter necklace and gorgeous Balenciaga gladiator wedges. In the long dress - a Diane von Furstenberg "Novesa" dress - and Louboutin pumps she looks more amazing than ever.
