Have completely fallen for these insanely stylish handmade birch storage boxes with carrying handle and clasps {above}. Designed and made by Finnish designer Harri Koskinen for storing albums, they would be great for just about anything, stacked or atop a hutch, or as an ultra-chic carrying case. {Koskinen is best-known for his famous Block Lamp that now sits in New York’s Museum of Modern Art.}
There are also slightly wider birch storage cubes {below}, which, when placed next to each other for shoe storage, can also double as a hall bench. The possibilities are endless.
