Alexander Wang on Shopbop and a Giveaway!

GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED

Happy Friday everyone! I thought we'd celebrate the upcoming weekend with another amazing giveaway, this time from the generous folks at Shopbop who are offering one lucky reader a $100 gift card!

Shopbop is an amazing website that offers up stylish pieces from designers like Alexander Wang (could I love his accessories any more?!) all in one place. We're talking everything from the Dree fringed sandals pictured above to oversized handbags and designer totes. One of my faves is this Alexander Wang Darcy Slouchy Hobo..

Of course, if anyone is wondering what to get me for Christmas I'd totally take the Rocco Mini Duffel, one of the many great black handbags available on the site. For more fashion inspiration and news visit the Shopbop official blog, which is currently singing the praises of fringe (much like those killer shoes in the first photo). If you're interested in the $100 gift card (and who wouldn't be?!) see below for details on how to enter.

What do you think of the Addison boots? Yay or nay?

How to Enter

Simple! The giveaway is open to all followers of Sogni e Sorrisi both new and old. Just head over to the Shopbop website and tell me what you would spend your gift card on.

In Nicole's closet: Winter Kate

Yesterday, September 29, Nicole Richie was seen heading to the set of "The View".
I initially thought she wears a dress, but it's actually a blouse/skirt combination.
Miss Richie paired the "Seville" silk chiffon blouse with the "Tilda" skirt, both from her Winter Kate fall 2010 collection.
You can purchase the blouse here for $178/
The skirt is available here for $198

Beautiful Bride: Emily Deschanel

This Emily Deschanel wedding photo via People.com who reports that the Bones star wed It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's David Hornsby in the Pacific Palisades wearing 10-karat diamond earrings and diamond hairpins from Neil Lane. I'm not sure who designed Emily's flowy nude-toned frock, but it has a J. Mendel or Marchesa-ish vibe.

More photos can be seen here.

What do you think of Emily's wedding look?

Nicole on the streets of Manhattan

Nicole Richie was fotographed on the streets of Manhattan in NYC,on September 29.
The designer wore her Winter Kate "Saxon" blue velvet shorts with black tights, House of Harlow 1960 pumps, a striped shirt under a Winter Kate "Jemma" vintage silk jacket, a Chanel lunch-box style bag, Chanel sunglasses and a House of Harlow 1960 tribal wrap ring in black and white.
She topped off her look with a leopard print hat.
I like it, but I'm not feeling it with the whole outfit.

The Trend Boutique now has the latest House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate pieces available to purchase.

sometimes it all seems to happen at once.

you try to untangle one part of your life only to find another knot of confusion. they say challenges are meant to make you stronger.  that everything happens for a reason & God never gives you more than you can handle.

& tonight:
i can't help but hope with all my heart that they are right.
