As the summer is drawing closer, and summery dresses and bikinis and shorts are beginning to infiltrate the shops, I thought I'd make a post to share my summer wishlist :)
I totally love this dress (£32 from Topshop). I think it's just so pretty, I can imagine wearing it on a lovely sunny day, at the park with a picnic. Or wear it with a denim jacket for a perfect summer shopping outfit!
I adore these stripey high waisted shorts (£28 from Topshop). You could wear them with a top of any colour and I think they'd look absolutely gorgeous with these and these.
Now, I know these are a little pricey at £95 from French Connection. But they are just absolutely stunning. Nude coloured shoes are a real fashion trend for spring 2009 and for the shorties out there (that's me!), nude shoes give the impression of longer legs!
This skirt (£30 from Urban Outfitters) is so cute! I think it would look perfect with just a plain white T-shirt (like in the picture) and some flats. The good thing about a skirt like this is it would look just as good in the depths of winter with some thick opaque tights and a warm cardigan.
As soon as I saw this dress, I fell in love with it! It's not cheap, at £48 from Urban Outfitters, but it is PERFECT for the summer. You could wear it literally anywhere: beach, shopping, park, funfair, school, work. And it is timeless and totally chic. You could belt it, or leave it loose, wear it with flats, sandals or heels. The perfect white summer dress in my opinion.
This playsuit is just divine. It's by Motel, such a gorgeous brand that has its own website at http://www.motelrocks.com/ but is also sold on ASOS, and is £34.75. With its nautical print, it would look right at home on the beach, but you could wear it anywhere really! I've been looking for a quirky playsuit after the success of my denim one last year, and this is just the thing!
I adore these cute little white shoes. They're the perfect summer shoe: white so they'll go with everything, a cross between sandals and shoes, and only £19.75 from ASOS. I have some similar ones from Topshop last year, and they were £30, so get onto ASOS for a bargain!
Florals are always a big hit for summer, and this year watercolour prints are also a key trend. So this skirt (£35 from Topshop) is not only beautiful, but highly fashionable too! Because there are so many colours in the skirt, you could wear almost any colour top. This is another transition piece, team with tights and a cute cardi for spring or autumn.
Finally, what is summer without a brand spanking new bikini? Pop down to Topshop for this glorious blue and white bikini. I've had my eye on it ever since it hit the website, and I ordered it the other day. It's not the cheapest bikini ever, £25, especially compared to the likes of H&M, but it is lovely!
I'll leave you to admire the things on my wishlist! Don't go spending too much money!
