mellon-kollee: a thoughtful or gentle sadness
Today has been a melancholy day. Not necessarily a bad day, just a melancholy one. I remember reading an article a few years back where Marc Jacobs stated how he thrives and gets inspired by melancholy. Such an interesting idea... and a beautiful word.
